unBoxed is an annual event hosted by Amazon Ads designed to educate advertisers on how to use Amazon Ads to create memorable connections with shoppers at key moments across their purchase journey. The event features keynotes with product announcements, access to breakout sessions, product deep dives, insights and recommendations from advertising leadership, and much more. unBoxed 2024 will take place in person in Austin.
Whether you are new to Amazon Ads or an experienced user, you will learn something new at unBoxed. Whether you’re a large brand, small to medium business, or partner, you’ll learn something new at unBoxed. unBoxed is a conference open to businesses of all sizes and marketers of every level of expertise interested in learning how Amazon is helping brands grow their business through creativity and innovation.

unBoxed registration gives you access to the keynotes, breakout sessions, Connections Hub, networking events, and unBoxed After Dark. Meals offered include breakfast and lunch on October 15 and October 16.
No, there will not be reserved seating at unBoxed. All sessions will be managed on a first-come, first-seated basis
Yes, there is virtual content for unBoxed 2024. Virtual registration includes access to the livestreamed keynote and select on-demand breakout content, post-event. All in-person registrants will have access to the livestream and post-event content – you do not need to register separately.
We will aim to provide a wide variety of dietary options including vegan, vegetarian, carnivore, and gluten-free options. Kosher and Halal meals may be requested during the registration process.

You will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the airport. The unBoxed conference venue is just 8 miles from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).

Yes. All attendees will go through magnetometers, and bags are subject to search upon entry into conference activities.
Registration
Registration for unBoxed is now open. Please navigate to the Register page, and click ‘Register’ to start the registration process. A valid credit card is required to purchase a conference pass. You must be 21 years or older to register for unBoxed in-person.
Early bird in-person full conference passes are $379 (USD), and virtual access is free. Once early-bird pricing is over, general admission ticket prices are $449 (USD). What do I get with a full conference pass? The full conference pass gives you access to the keynotes, breakout sessions, Connections Hub, networking events, and unBoxed After Dark. Meals offered include breakfast and lunch on October 15 and October 16.
No. A full conference pass must be purchased.
We expect unBoxed to sell out this year and do not anticipate making onsite registration available.
A valid credit card is required to purchase a conference pass during registration. All major credit cards are accepted.

If Amazon Ads receives your cancellation notice by September 5, 2024, you will be issued a full refund of your registration fees via the original payment method. If Amazon Ads receives your cancellation notice between September 6, 2024, and October 7, 2024, Amazon Ads will issue you a 50% refund of your registration fees via the original payment method. If Amazon Ads receives your cancellation notice on or after October 8, 2024, you will not be eligible for a refund. Event registrations may be transferred to another participant upon approval by Amazon Ads at its sole discretion. To request a transfer of your event registration, contact us at unBoxed-support@amazon.com.
Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age as of October 14, 2024.

You can join the livestream at any time. You won’t be able to rewind during the live streamed sessions, but our keynotes and select breakout sessions are being recorded. Registration for on-demand tickets will remain open through the end of the year.
No, if you were registered for the in-person event, your ticket will automatically grant you access to the unBoxed livestream and select on demand content post-event.

unBoxed will take place on October 14-16 at the Austin Convention Center located at 500 E. Cesar Chavez St. Austin, TX 78701.
unBoxed has secured room blocks at exclusive discounted rates for our attendees. You can access these rates by booking accommodations via the hotel reservation links sent in your event registration confirmation email. Our group hotel rates are available through September 18th - September 24th or until our room blocks sell out, whichever comes first. We suggest booking your hotel reservation early to take advantage of our exclusive room rates.

Onsite sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. As seats are not guaranteed, there is no need to pre-register. However, we recommend taking advantage of the scheduling tools on the unBoxed mobile app to help organize your day. The app will be available approximately two weeks prior to the conference.

Keynotes will be livestreamed. Keynotes and select breakout content will be available on-demand following the event.
After registering for the virtual event, you will receive an email confirming your registration, and a link to access virtual content on the event days. The event will stream live on the agenda page. Remember to mark your calendar for October 15 and 16.
Recordings of the keynote and select breakout sessions will be available on demand post-event.
Yes, you can tune into the broadcast at any time. You won’t be able to rewind during the conference, but don’t forget, our broadcast is being recorded and will be available in our on-demand video library after the event.

Please note, additional devices may successfully connect, but are not officially supported.
To toggle between multiple outputs connected to your device (e.g. internal speakers, headphones, and AirPlay), click the gear icon ⚙️ on the top right of the live-streamed session. You will then be able to select which output and input devices should be used.
First, check the physical connection to your device, by either unplugging and re-connecting your physical headphones, or toggling bluetooth on and off. If you are confident that the output device is connected correctly, check your system preferences to ensure your computer recognizes the device. On a Windows device, click the loudspeaker icon on the bottom right of your screen, and you'll be able to change output device. On a Mac, visit System Preferences - Sound to choose your output devices.
If you're confident everything is connected properly, your devices might be being used by another tool or application. Make sure tools like Zoom, Google Hangouts, Go To Meeting, etc. have been closed prior to starting the session.
We recommend having a bandwidth of 20 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.

Kick off your unBoxed 2024 journey by joining us at Educate & Elevate on October 14 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. Educate & Elevate is a live event designed to help you up-level and up-skill your Amazon Ads knowledge. During Educate & Elevate you'll have the opportunity to attend exclusive sessions hosted by Amazon Ads experts to learn and practice how to connect content to commerce with Prime Video Ads, plan, activate and measure your media strategies, and transform insights into action.
Educate & Elevate offers two workshops, one covering Prime Video Ads strategies and the other helping you identify how to use Reach Curve API, Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), and Ads Planner solutions to create your omnichannel and holistic Streaming TV ads strategy and avoid common planning drawbacks. There will also be hands-on sessions leveraging real-world examples to help you understand, test, visualize, and enhance your media strategies using Ads Planner and AMC.
Educate & Elevate is open to unBoxed attendees. Although unBoxed attendees are welcome to register, capacity for Educate & Elevate is limited. Attendees must RSVP and attendance is first come, first serve. The event is best suited for advertisers and marketers looking to expand their Amazon Ads product knowledge.

No, Educate & Elevate is an exclusive in-person event, and it will not be offered virtually.
Yes, breakfast and lunch will be served during Educate & Elevate. Breakfast starts at 9:30 AM with the first prep session commencing at 10:30 AM. Lunch will be served from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops. However, laptops will be provided on-site for attendees who do not have a computer.
You can sign up to attend Educate & Elevate sessions by navigating to the agenda page and selecting the “save my seat” icon. Please note, you must be registered for unBoxed in order to reserve a seat for Educate & Elevate.

The 2024 Amazon Ads Partner Awards announcement will take place on October 15, 2024 at Amazon Ads unBoxed 2024. A reception will take place immediately following the winner announcement.
Yes. Because the Amazon Ads Partner Awards announcement and reception is taking place within the unBoxed conference, all attendees must be registered attendees for the unBoxed conference. You must be 21 years or older to register for unBoxed in-person.
The Partner Awards announcement and reception are open to all unBoxed attendees until capacity is reached. Pre-registration is encouraged. You can sign up by navigating to the agenda page and selecting the “save my seat” icon. Priority will be given to attendees that pre-register, however, it does not guarantee a seat. Capacity is limited, and seating will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved seats will be released 5 mins prior to start time.
There is not an official dress code for the Amazon Ads Partner Awards announcement and reception, however business casual attire is encouraged.

Health Measures

The health and safety of our advertisers, partners, and employees remains our top priority.
At unBoxed 2024, the following health measures will be in place. All attendees are required to comply with unBoxed event-specific requirements, including health and safety measures, in accordance with the Amazon Ads Event Code of Conduct. Signage and additional staffing will be in place to support health measures. This information will be updated in accordance with venue, and local city/state guidelines pertaining to large-scale events.
The Austin Convention Center uses products and measures which meet or exceed the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Efforts include enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols, air filtration, and health screenings for venue staff. For more information on health and safety plans put in place by our venue, please refer to the Austin Convention Center COVID-19 and Safety Action Plan.
No. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test is not required to participate in unBoxed.
Accessibility
The Austin Convention Center has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. Read more about accessibility at the venue here. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, communication access real-time translation (CART), and/or illustrative visual guides (IVGs) are available at unBoxed in all content sessions.
Scooter and wheelchair rentals will be available onsite on a first come, first served basis. Scooter rentals are stationed at the Business Center on Level 1. For additional questions, contact unBoxed-support@amazon.com.
For accessibility services or questions that need to be addressed onsite during conference hours, such as questions about assistive listening or service animals, the accessibility concierge will be available to assist you. We will provide Accessible seating space within each keynote and breakout room designated to host wheelchairs, CART, ASL, and other accessibility services.
Assistive listening headsets are available in all session rooms and during the keynote. Look for the assistive listening icon on signage to identify these rooms. Headsets do not need to be arranged in advance and should be picked up from the tech table at the back of the session room or keynote hall. Please return your headsets at the end of each session.
Yes, service animals are welcome inside the Austin Convention Center. Read more about the service animal guidelines on the venue’s website.
A reflection room, or quiet room, is available at the event and can be used when needed during general conference hours. Check back in October for more details.
A parents’ room provides a private, secure space for nursing parents. A key is needed for access. Check back in October for more details.
Yes, lactation rooms will be available at unBoxed and are designed to provide lactating parents with a private, secure space to breastfeed or express breast milk for their nursing child.
All-gender restrooms are available at unBoxed.
Subtitles for the keynote livestream and on-demand content will be in English.
Closed captioning (CC) will be provided for all sessions made available via livestream and video-on-demand replays.
